Nita Ambani: The ‘multi-task’ master

There are those titles of being a wife to India’s most powerful man Mukesh Ambani, mother to three children, a homemaker, co-owner of a fully fledged IPL team, chairman of Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS), social activist and philanthropists that define Nita Ambani rather objectively, but what sums up her deeds the best is the title of being a ‘multi-task master’.

Being the first lady of corporate India, there is that constant responsibility of representing oneself in a certain pre-disposed way. But Nita Ambani has managed to take it up with a smile on her face and on high heels too. Standing by her husband in business and its ventures, Nita Ambani has stood by Reliance Industries Limited in every way possible. Spearing its philanthropic arm – Reliance Foundation – has been her major task and she has put in relentless efforts to take the vision of the venture to its purposed realization. Both Mukesh and Nita Ambani have pinned the importance of youth empowerment, education, child welfare and quality healthcare time and again and it has been through their many a charitable endeavors that they have contributed to the same.

As the chairman of DAIS, Nita Ambani strives to uphold the legacy her late father-in-law had endowed in the school body; one of providing holistic and value based education. As the co-owner of IPL team Mumbai Indians her strenuous work hours in and around the field, the team and its associates is a testament to her determined efforts in building the team into a wholesome lot. And even as the season 4 of IPL takes exciting course, Nita Ambani is proud to see her team at the top slots.

It is, undoubtedly, a challenging task to manage so many different things all at once. But Nita Ambani makes it all look like a piece of cake. And the best part is that she does it all with a smile on her face and a charming personality to top it all.
