Reliance Jio’s Welcome Offer Available for iPhone Models

Reliance Jio is a telecom company that serves as a comprehensive digital ecosystem in India. A subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Reliance Jio commenced its telecom services in September 2016 commercially on an all-India level.

The digital arm of RIL, Reliance Jio is also the world’s largest start-up. It offers smartphones, personal Wi-Fi hotspots, broadband services, and Jio 4G services. Presently, this service provider is allowing new users to avail of the Jio welcome offer.

Welcome offer

The offer allows individuals to avail of free unlimited data, voice, and video services, along with premium Jio applications till the 31^st of December 2016.

This offer has now been extended to Apple devices, namely the iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPhone 6S Plus. The offer may also be enjoyed by those purchasing either the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus models. However, it is only applicable if users purchase the Apple device from authorized Apple resellers or Reliance Digital stores.

Services for iPhone users

Existing users of iPhones need not worry; they can also avail of this deal. Till the end of 2016, they can enjoy unlimited Reliance Jio services for free. After this welcome period expires, users may select any one plan from the array of packages Jio has made available for prepaid and postpaid accounts. Users may also opt for the one-year-long complimentary service plan that is priced at Rs. 1,499.

While announcing Reliance Jio’s welcome offer for iPhone models, the telecom company also released a new smart phone under  its brand LYF, the LYF FLAME 7S.

LYF FLAME 7S

The LYF FLAME 7S is priced at Rs. 3,499 and may be purchased at any Reliance Digital store. The smart phone has a 4-inch WVGA screen of 480×800 pixel resolution. For added protection, the screen is covered with Asahi Dragontrail Glass. Operating on Lollipop 5.1, it is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum processor that is clocked at 1.5GHz. In terms of memory, the smart phone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The latter can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card.

Available in red and black variants, the LYF FLAME 7S has an 1800mAh lithium-ion battery. The device also sports a 0.3MP front camera and a 5MP LED-enabled rear camera. With respect to connectivity options, the smart phone supports micro USB 2.0, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, and the dual-SIM feature.
